ABOUT DION

Dion Racks, is the founder of Core Community Services Inc. a non-profit organization, providing youth with community connections in medical, health, education and family services.  She is the founder of Maximizing Potential Inc. providing services in training, education and consulting. Ms. Racks is a Certified Advance Practice Social Worker, who began her career in child protective services and worked for the Department of Children and Families in Wisconsin, and the Milwaukee Child Welfare Partnership for University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has worked with in various capacities including case management, supervision and training for over 19 years.  Ms. Racks received her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, with an area of interest in Mental Health, Children and Families and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

 Ms. Racks, provides training, curriculum development for state and local child welfare agencies. Her areas of expertise include: trauma informed Care, cultural humility, diversity inclusion, human sex trafficking, clinical work with children and families, developing and training a critical thinking process in child safety decisions, with emphasis in family centered practice.
